The way you write, I feel like I was there....Truly. The way you write, I feel like I was there. But, can only imagine the intensity of actually being there. In a world of "haves" and "have nots," I am still blown away by the basic needs that people don't have and will ultimately and unfortunately die because of the lack. Thank you for telling their story, exposing the injustice, and DOING something about it.Mrs. Hammer Timehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07463887306142010488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3269569520948600523.post-39842693719644970892009-06-14T10:52:21.040-07:002009-06-14T10:52:21.040-07:00Don't you feel like taking matters into your o...Don't you feel like taking matters into your own hands and dishing out as much money and amenities as possible other than medical supplies? Like Mother Teresa says, "It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters." Wow I admire your courage I cannot sit there and pass by people knowing or fully knowing that what lies ahead is quite frankly bleak. Regardless of knowing that this is all you can do I would cry my eyes out and give the shirt off my back. It's truly amazing how we take the simplest things in life for granted. We don't know how truly fortunate we are until we lose the most basic necessities of life. Do things w/love and generosity and give what you can that's more than most ppl get in a lifetime!

Cheers to good health and a lifetime of happiness!Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08503425828629357106noreply@blogger.com
